Welsh Wildlife
Compared to many countries, the Wildlife in Wales is relatively tame. That’s not to say the country isn’t teeming with it. Here will will let you know where you can see the wildlife in its natural habitat, or take part in activities involving various animals. From Dolphin Spotting, to sheep herding.
South Wales maybe the most populated, industrialised part of Wales, but there are still a few places you can find animals

- The Gower / Bannau Brycheiniog
Wild Horses roam free on the Gower and most often spotted around Rhossili Bay and Gowerton. Wild Horses can also be found grazing on the highlands of Bannau Brycheiniog particularly in Fforest Fawr Geopark - Sheep Dog Experience

West Wales is arguably the most region of Wales with most wildlife. Here are some of the places you can find Wildlife in West Wales
- British Bird of Prey Centre
Visit Birds of Prey such as Owls, Kites & Kestrels, and even have a go at flying them yourself - Skomer Island
Also known as Puffin Island, due to its large Puffin Population - Foley Farm
Zoological Farm with Giraffes, Monkeys, Lions etc - Martins Haven
One of a number of places along the Pembrokeshire Coast where Seals can be spotted. Particularly August to November when they come ashore to breed - Great Wedlock Farm & Deer Park
175 acre managed park, that is home to between 200-300 deer, of multiple breeds, at any given time
Much of Mid Wales is Farmland. Sheep farming in particular, but there are still a few places you can find wildlife in Mid Wales
