Cotswolds

Starting from your hotel at around 9:30am, and enjoy a Cotswolds Tour where  you will discover places such as Tetbury, Bibury, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold as you travel through the English countryside and discover why it is a designated and protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

The exact route you take, and exactly where in the Cotswolds you go will vary depending on the drivers whim. But you can rest assured, where ever you will go, you will see picture postcard villages, and quintessentially English countryside as you travel between Cardiff and London or Heathrow.

You will leave your hotel in London around 9:30am, and arrive at Stonehenge around lunchtime. Here you will have a couple of hours to visit the historic stones that have stood on the Salisbury Plain for 5000 years.
After marvelling at the neo-lithic stones you will return to your driver, and take a drive through the Wiltshire Countryside on your way to Castle Combe. Here you will have around an hour to explore the picture post card village, regarded by many as one of the prettiest villages in the UK, before continuing on to your hotel in Cardiff. Arriving there around 5:30pm
If you are travelling from Cardiff to London or Heathrow, you will visit Castle Combe first. Then after Stonehenge complete you journey ending at your London Hotel, or Heathrow around 5:30pm

This option is not available to start at Heathrow and must start at a Hotel (or other address) in either Cardiff or London

You will leave your hotel in London around 9:30am, and head west towards Wales with a south Cotswolds Tour.  On the way you will stop at the picturesque village of Castle Combe. Here you will have around half an hour to stretch your legs and look around the pretty village
From Castle Combe you will have a short drive to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bath. In Bath you will have around 3 hours to independently explore the city and take in its Honey Coloured buildings, have some lunch and maybe visit the Roman Baths. At an agreed time, your driver will return to pick you up and complete your journey to Cardiff, arriving in the Welsh capital around 5:30pm
If you are travelling from Cardiff to London or Heathrow, you will visit Castle Combe first. Then after Stonehenge complete you journey ending at your London Hotel, or Heathrow around 5:30pm
Bath - Putney Bridge
Our guests typically spend around 90 minutes to 2 hours at Stonehenge. However from time to time we have guests who spend nearly 3 hours visiting the ancient monument
If you want to have extra time at Stonehenge then with this option, you will only be taken to Stonehenge. Leaving your hotel around 9:30am, you will arrive at Stonehenge around 12:00pm. You will then depart at around 3:00pm and be driven directly to your next hotel.

This is option is not available to start at Heathrow and must begin at a hotel (or other address) either in either Cardiff or London

Along the way you will have the chance to stop and get some pictures, and explore the towns and villages with their honey coloured buildings and thatched roofs, and you will stop along the way for lunch

Additional Information
  • The actual route taken on the Cotswolds Tour be decided on the day by the driver and will take into account factors such as traffic conditions, weather conditions, available daylight (particularly during winter months), any delays to flights during passport control or baggage claim, or any events that maybe taking place in the Cotswolds on the day.
  • Tours starting from a hotel in Cardiff or London will normally begin at 9:30am, on request tours starting from Cardiff can start any time between 8:00am and 10:0am, and tours starting in London normally start at 10:00am, but can start any time between 9:00am and 10:00am
  • Tours are for private groups of up to 4 people
  • Tours must start or end in Cardiff. We would be happy to plan a similar custom tour starting or ending anywhere else in Wales. Please email info@waleschauffeurtours.co.uk if you would like us to plan a tour between London / Heathrow and anywhere else in Wales
  • There is an entry fee for Stonehenge which is NOT included in the tour fee.Pre-booking tickets online is strongly recommended to avoid potentially long queues, especially during the peak season. On request we can book the tickets on your behalf and send you an invoice for the entry fee, plus a 10% booking fee.
  • There is an entry fee for The Roman Baths in Bath, which is not included in the tour fee. Pre-booking tickets online is strongly recommended to avoid potentially long queues, especially during the peak season. On request we can book the tickets on your behalf and send you an invoice for the entry fee, plus a 10% booking fee.
  • Tours to Stonehenge can not start at Heathrow. This is due to tickets having an entry slot, and delays to flights, or delays at passport control or baggage claim could see the entry slot being missed.
  • Tickets for The Roman Baths in Bath should not be pre-booked for tours starting at Heathrow. This is due to tickets having an entry slot, and delays to flights, or delays at passport control or baggage claim could see the entry slot being missed.
  • Should the tour be significantly longer than 8 hours due to spending significantly longer than planned at one or more stop, or due to additional stops being requested, we reserve the right for the driver to request additional payment at the end of the tour at their discretion for additional time.
  • On arrival in Bath, your driver will drop you off in the city centre, and go and park elsewhere. They will then return to pick you back up from the same location at an agreed time
