Become a Partner Driver Guide
Do you have a passion for showing Wales off? Would you love to spend your days showing the best of Wales off to visitors to the country? We are always interested in hearing from anyone who would be interested in partnering with us as either a Driver Guide, or an Executive Driver
To partner with us as a Driver Guide excellent spoken English is a must, and being able to speak Welsh is desirable, although not essential. We get guests from all over the world, so being able to speak any other language could also be beneficial.
Ideally you will have an interest in History, Welsh history in particular, and whilst we dont expect you to be an expert in absolutely everything, you should have a good all round knowledge about Welsh History, culture, and of course what it is like to live in Wales
You must also have a valid Private Hire Drivers Licence from Cardiff Council, and a vehicle licenced by Cardiff Council as a Private Hire Vehicle.
For local tours, such as our Cardiff City Tour, any vehicle would be acceptable, so long as it is in good condition. For longer all day tours, your vehicle must be an executive vehicle such as a Mercedes E Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 or similar, or better. Or an MPV, such as Mercedes V Class, Mercedes Vito or Ford Tourneo.
We are also always interested to hear from Executive Drivers who are looking for Transfer Work, to meet out guests at Airports and bring them to Cardiff, or take them to the Airport after their tour.
